HPMC -MS Series
for Gypsum Mortar

HPMC (Hydroxypropyl Methylcellulose) is a water-soluble polymer used as a binder in gypsum based mortars. It is used to improve the workability, adhesion, and water retention of the mortar. HPMC is also used to reduce shrinkage and cracking, and to increase the strength of the mortar. It is also used to reduce the setting time of the mortar, allowing for faster application and drying time.

To solve this problem, it is to choose the type of cellulose and the compound utilization method of retarder. In this regard, hydroxypropyl methyl 30000-60000cps is generally selected, and the addition amount is between 1.5%-2%. It is water retention, retardation and lubrication.
